You wouldn’t walk to the Far Lands, right. Right? The dedication of these players proves otherwise. The old post was rewritten from the ground up to feature accurate definitions of Far Lands/World Border types, a detailed list of players and up to date information. Thank you to members of the Far Lands community on Discord for providing information and proof reading, especially Xelanater and Sav.

I tried my best to compile the mess of data on Far Lands walkers online from an outsider perspective.
General information:
- Use Ctrl+F to search names.
- X denotes abandonment or inactivity, unless otherwise elaborated in footnotes.
- Many categories such as the End Far Lands or Flat World Border have never been attempted.
- Source may be a third party re-upload in some cases. Many sources have timestamps.
- Players with multiple entries (not necessarily in the same table/category) are numbered.
- Very few walkers choose negative direction (such as Raltus, fastkid542, Askefise, OverBakedGravey, Sav, QSHV, Windkn0x and Thimen24). All walkers show a preference for walking on positive X-axis.
Disclaimers on accuracy:
- First draft of this post was made using distance values taken between 9th and 10th October.
- Tables may contain inaccuracies; Some entry type modifiers such as set-seed may be missing.
- Data on WIP journeys will become outdated. There’s no guarantee that a currently legal WIP journey will not become invalid in the future.
- Start and end dates of journeys may be off due to differences in recording and video upload date.
- Percentages have been rounded to the nearest whole number.

✝ Passed away 2022 08 13. Raised $500 via his journey. While he never uses F3, in Episode 179/186 he mentions it is the 544th Minecraft day. This is 5,440 minutes or 326,400 seconds. At the average walk speed of 4.3 blocks per second, he would have walked 1,403,520 blocks. Episodes 180-186 add up to 3 more hours, or 10,800 seconds, raising the final estimate by 46,440 to 1,449,960 blocks. This estimate is for a “perfect” constant walk. Walker Sav suggests a value closer to 1M due to; 1) A visible lack of the 1 pixel off-set seen past the 1M floating point; 2) Comparisons of Chef’s world file size with others.
~F3 not seen in any new video. Distance estimated to be over 8.3M by Fig based off the amount of recorded progress and visible major jitter, and corrected to 5,680,263 by Xelanater based on block offsets.

Reaching the Nether Far Lands by going on a terrestrial journey through the nether. Not to be confused with using the Nether or Nether Roof to reach the Overworld Far Lands, which are different categories.

World Border/Boundary
This category is distinct as it requires players to legitimately reach either the World Boundary (32,000,000, pre-1.7 on Java, all versions on Bedrock) or hard World Border (29,999,984, 1.7+ on Java). On versions where the Far Lands are present, this requires going through them to nearly 3x the distance.

I come to bring updates on Farfadox.
The last 10 days he made a live on twitch extensible in which he walks through the nether.
At the time I am writing this he is live and will try to reach 95% (93.5% at the time I am writing this). It will be the last day of the extensible live and in the following days he will do 1%. His goal is to reach Farlands by November 25th.
He’s at 95%, I’ll put that in now – but again, no promises for future updates as this list goes outdated day by day!

He reached that earlier today. You can watch the VOD at his twitch channel. I know that its hard to keep updated since this change daily but it would be great to have a place where you can track everyone at once. This list is the most similar to that since there is no “FarLands Pioneers” webpage. I just want to share this information since he’s from my country and its the first spanish speaker reaching the farlands on foot and recording every second of it.
