CATCH-UP ROUND: Spooks, Drops and Creaks (Minecraft updates!)

Here’s a short summary of recent Minecraft updates, events and developments (Since maybe you live under a rock like me, a builder)! Happy end of Spooktober, I wonder if you did any Inktober challenge.

• UPDATE DROPS: MINECRAFT’S DEVELOPMENT IS CHANGING! WE WILL NOW GET SMALLER “DROPS” INSTEAD OF HUGE YEARLY UPDATES. AND MOB VOTE IS GETTING REMOVED!
• MINECRAFT LIVE: The digital Minecon made its yearly apearance in September. News included:
• MINECRAFT MOVIE: First teaser trailer of the official big-screen movie adaptation of the game dropped in September. Reactions were mixed in the heat of the moment due to the art direction!
• MINECRAFT EXPERIENCE: This attraction opened recently in Texas! It offers a small interactive life-size Minecraft environment and will “travel” to other locations. Visitors unlock a free in-game cape (In other news: are capes getting devalued? Probably not, since the rare ones stay rare!)
• PALE GARDEN: This new, eerie biome will be coming to the game with its own pale wood and moss variant! It looks like a grayscale dark oak forest. But be wary at nightfall, because it also adds:
• THE CREAKING: A new night mob! It seems to have weeping-angel-like mechanics (The opposite of looking at an enderman), and comes with a creaking heart block that you’ll have to destroy.

The Warden’s early designs remind me of the Creaking.
