Hytale before GTA6: Early Access pre-sales, Username reservations

December 13th marks one month before the January 13th Early Access public release of Hytale. Prices vary between editions (below)! Hytale has come back under original management after buyout by Hypixel co-owner Simon Collins. (After only years of delay faced by Riot Games (Just scroll thru the Hytale Blog!)

The game is available on Windows, but the team is “actively working to bring Hytale to Linux and Mac as soon as possible” (More info: Hytale Hardware Requirements). It may come to Steam in the far future.

“An internet connection is required to download and for periodic authentication. Offline play will be supported.”

Players can choose from:

• Standard Edition ($24,59) for early access cosmetics and standard cape
• Supporter Edition ($43,04) for extra cosmetics and THREE extra capes
• Cursebreaker Edition ($86,09) for FOUR extra cosmetic sets and capes

Note: PRICING SEEMS TO BE REGIONAL AND SHIFT HEAVILY

The pricing seems reasonable, letting the player choose how much they can and wish to support the developement, and more “will be added” to each edition in the future. Interested to see the revival!

If you sign up for the Hytale newsletter, you should receive an e-mail with a token allowing you to pre-choose and reserve a username for the game. More options and info available from your account page.
